In 2010, she initiated a transformative journey that would become the foundation of her commitment to empowering women. This journey culminated in the establishment of the "Women of Valor" ministry, providing vital support for women transitioning from victimhood to survivorship.
As the Founder and Executive Director of BluePrint Agency NFP, Shayla harnesses her personal and professional experiences to create a tangible impact. BluePrint Agency equips women with essential tools, enabling them to overcome obstacles and embrace their full potential. Shayla holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Aurora University, further enhancing her ability to uplift others.

I have 20 years of nursing experience clinical, educating, managing, and case management. I have met a lot of people throughout my career and I take pride in knowing that my gifts have helped them in some way. Whether it was being a listening ear, providing nursing care, or helping them find resources to make their quality of life better. I look forward to continuing to share my knowledge and serving others.

My name is Angela Broom. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, wife and mother of two, who specializes in client centered, solution focused therapies. I wholeheartedly believe that through physical, mental, and spiritual healing, grace, and redemption, all people are resilient, and can heal, survive, and even thrive after being exposed to abuse, domestic violence and other trauma. With many years of experience working with children and families in the school setting and private sectors, I truly believe in working to empower others to live a healthy and fulfilled lifestyle. .
My name is Marsha Lockett and I am a survivor of domestic violence, rape, physical and mental abuse. I am dedicated to helping women overcome the trauma of such events. I also pray daily over women that they are not subjected to these kinds of behaviors. and for the ones who are, that they find the help and support that they need.
I have mentored many young ladies within my community and churches down through the years. I am a wife and a mother and I have a passion for marriages and seeing them thrive.
I hold a Bachelors in Sociology and a background in Pension Counseling as well as Hospital Financial Counseling. In my free time, I enjoy decorating, praise dancing, date nights with my husband and family time with my children. I look forward to serving at Blueprint Agency.
Sabah has a passion to empower her clients in overcoming their obstacles by helping them recognize their personal strengths to promote healing and growth. She believes that in facing life's challenges and adversity, resilience and emotional strength are developed. Sabah has experience supporting individuals with mild to severe anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, relationship issues, life adjustments/stress and behavioral issues. Sabah is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and earned her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) and Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) from Aurora University. Sabah graduated from Western Illinois University with her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW).
By identifying and focusing on personal strengths rather than deficits, Sabah helps clients recognize healthy coping skills to overcome obstacles, develop solutions and achieve their goals. She also values the importance of therapeutic alliances between herself and her clients and believes it is important the client is the driver of their treatment journey with the support of their clinician. By maintaining a warm and safe therapeutic environment, Sabah recognizes the importance of individuality and supports her clients based on their unique, individual needs in conjunction with evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), mindfulness-based therapy, solution-focused therapy and process therapy. Sabah works with teens, adults, families and couples.
Outside of work, Sabah enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants and activities around the Chicagoland, discovering new music, watching basketball and cooking new and traditional family recipes.
